Use your favorite software to create a design that you would like to have laser cut. Don’t have a design? No problem! Send us an image and we can help you create custom designs that fit your needs. Learn more about creating designs for CNC cutting.

We’ll Send a Quote for Approval

Send us a description of your project and we’ll get back to you with a quote as soon as we are able based on the complexity of the file, material selection, quantity and turnaround time. Tell us about your project here.

We Cut your CNC Project

We laser cut and/or laser engrave your project. You can pick up the final project from our studio or we can have it delivered or shipped to your location, anywhere in the world.

NOLA Laser Cut offers a professional laser cutting service for NOLA’s creative community. We use industrial laser cutting machines that are extremely precise up to .001” tolerance. We are happy to not only cut/ engrave your project, but to answer any questions you may have about the process and give you expert tips. If you are unsure that it is laser cutting that you are looking for, reach out to us and say hello. If your project may require a different type of manufacturing service, we are happy to recommend other vendors.

Set Up your File for CNC Cutting

Every project starts with a digital vector file, which serves as instructions for our CNC milling machine, telling it what to cut, score, or engrave.

The best way to get a quick and accurate quote is to send us properly formatted digital artwork. If you need help setting up a file, you can send a written description or raster image, but correspondence may take a bit longer.

Maximum Sheet/Cutting Size

We can cut sheets up to 8’x4′ in size with a z-depth of up to 5″.

CNC Cutting File Requirements

    • File types (vector format): .ai, .svg, .eps, .dwg, .dxf, .3dm
    • Cut lines: Red Lines RGB (255,0,0)
    • Line Weight: .001”
    • Score lines (hairline engraving): Blue Lines RGB (0,255,0)
    • Engraved area (Black fill): Black Fill (0,0,0)
